Dinner served at Union Baptist Soup Kitchen

Embrace Relief Foundation, in collaboration with the Turkish Cultural Center Westchester, organized a dinner at Union Baptist Soup Kitchen in White Plains, NY. The dinner was attended by nearly 70 senior citizens who were served traditional Turkish cuisine. Pat Coleman, the Soup Kitchen’s Director as well as the attendees were very grateful for the meal, as well as the opportunity to learn a little about Embrace Relief Foundation.  Rosa Boone, Deputy Commissioner for Social Services Westchester, attended the dinner and noted that many people in Westchester suffer from both homelessness and hunger and that Embrace Relief Foundation’s outreach efforts in the community during the month of Ramadan was a wonderful way to alleviate some of the suffering.
