About this campaign
Çorum’un sevilen simalarından Abdullah Tahtalı, 11 Kasım 2025’te, 79 yaşında gurbet diyarı Amerika’da, New York eyaletinin başkenti Albany’de vefat etti.
Vefatı sonrası aile üyeleri, kendilerine teklif edilen maddi yardımları kabul etmeyerek, bu desteklerin merhumun misyonuna uygun olarak Afrika’da kalıcı bir hizmete dönüşmesini arzu etmişlerdir.
Bu vesileyle bir okulun bahçesinde:
- Su kuyusu/çeşme kurulacak,
- Kız çocukları için WC inşa edilecektir.
Abdullah Tahtalı, a beloved community member originally from Çorum, Turkey, passed away on November 11, 2025, at the age of 79, in Albany, the capital city of New York.
After his passing, the family graciously declined all monetary assistance offered to them. Instead, in honor of his lifelong values and dedication to helping others, they expressed the wish for such support to be directed toward a lasting charitable project in Africa.
With this intention, the following will be established in the courtyard of a local school:
- A water well/fountain
- Restroom facilities for girls
It is the family’s hope that these services will benefit both the students and the surrounding community, and that Abdullah Tahtalı may receive spiritual reward from these ongoing acts of kindness.
