Campaign story

About this campaign

Clean drinking water isn't just an essential component to sustaining life but also a birthright to any living being. Water should not be a luxury but an easily accessible resource for every person!

As a group of high schoolers living in St. Louis, we want to build a water well that could help thousands of people in need of clean water.

We are inspired by Embrace Relief, a nonprofit granting the general public the ability to contribute to creating wells, donating necessities, and building shelters for people in need. During discussions, we went over many projects and thought about ways to contribute. We chose the goal of funding the building of a water well that could help people in need of clean water. We will have our fundraising events to raise money for this project, and we will add that money here. If we can raise the $4,000 to fund this project, we want to use the extra money raised to aid orphan children in Haiti, Burundi, Nigeria, Kenya, and Tanzania.

Remember, no matter how small the donation is, you will be helping us impact people's lives! We will update you on our progress throughout this project and ensure that 100% of your money goes to this project.

Thanks in advance for contributing to this cause; it will mean so much to those women, children, and men without access to drinking water.

Clean Water Program

Why clean water campaigns matter.

Clean water campaigns help communities replace unsafe rivers, ponds, and shallow wells with dependable water access.

Embrace Relief's clean water work includes new wells, well repairs, field verification, annual maintenance, and donor reporting.

Deep-aquifer wells help reduce exposure to surface contamination and waterborne illness.

Nearby water access gives time back to families, especially women and girls.

Full well projects can include naming, photos, location details, completion reporting, warranty, and annual maintenance.
