Campaign story
COVID-19 cases continued to rise in Cameroon, with low-income and rural communities among the most affected. Many people lacked reliable health information and could not afford face masks or hand sanitizer.
The One Person, One Face Mask project was created to explain COVID-19 symptoms and prevention measures while distributing masks, sanitizer, soap and handwashing buckets in public places.
The project aimed to make practical prevention resources available to people who otherwise could not access them and to help slow the spread of the virus.
