Campaign overview

My grandfather, Haji Abdullah, was a builder—he built wells for his village.

Campaign story

About this campaign

In his memory, we wanted to build a well for the lovely people of this nation. Let not our color, creed, nationality, or faith get in the way of our ties of brotherhood, for we all feel thirst just the same.

Let this well serve as a promise that no matter how different we may seem, the ground beneath us is an emanet, a trust given to us in this world, and the water it gives belongs to all. Just as my grandfather once shaped the earth with his hands so others could drink, we, too, extend our hands across borders with the hope that love and compassion may flow just as freely.

May this well remind us that giving is not bound by identity, and that we all carry a responsibility unto one another.

May each drop from this well nourish not just the body, but the soul—refreshing hearts with mercy, hope, and remembrance.

May all our loved ones rest in peace.

Clean Water Program

Why clean water campaigns matter.

Clean water campaigns help communities replace unsafe rivers, ponds, and shallow wells with dependable water access.

Embrace Relief's clean water work includes new wells, well repairs, field verification, annual maintenance, and donor reporting.

Deep-aquifer wells help reduce exposure to surface contamination and waterborne illness.

Nearby water access gives time back to families, especially women and girls.

Full well projects can include naming, photos, location details, completion reporting, warranty, and annual maintenance.
