About this campaign

Africa suffers from overburdened water systems. Weak governments, corruption, mismanagement of resources worsen the problem, making the lack of clean water in Africa one of the most urgent global issues. Water scarcity affects 1 in 3 people in Africa and is getting worse with population growth, poverty, and natural disasters. Water scarcity can also lead to diseases such as trachoma, plague, typhus, cholera, and many others. Thousands of people die every year in Africa due to polluted waters. That's why I decided to start a fundraising project to contribute to the building of wells and bring health to people who are sick from contaminated water. By donating even a small amount, you can help the digging of wells in Africa and help provide clean water to those who need it the most.

Clean Water Program

Why clean water campaigns matter.

Clean water campaigns help communities replace unsafe rivers, ponds, and shallow wells with dependable water access.

Embrace Relief's clean water work includes new wells, well repairs, field verification, annual maintenance, and donor reporting.

Deep-aquifer wells help reduce exposure to surface contamination and waterborne illness.

Nearby water access gives time back to families, especially women and girls.

Full well projects can include naming, photos, location details, completion reporting, warranty, and annual maintenance.
