Youth Island NY Uganda Water Well Constructions & Humanitarian Trip Project
Campaign story
Youth Island NY was established in 2017 as a non-profit organization aiming to support middle school, high school, and college students spiritually, socially, and academically. Through our mentoring programs and long-term activities, we strive to create an environment where students can practice their beliefs and culture, have a successful transition from middle school to college, and immerse themselves in American society as unique individuals.
As a long-time partner of Embrace Relief, Youth Island NY aims to have another successful project in an attempt to provide clean water for people in need in Uganda. We are fundraising for the construction of 2 newly built water wells that will serve thousands of people.
Clean Water Program
Clean water campaigns help communities replace unsafe rivers, ponds, and shallow wells with dependable water access.
Embrace Relief's clean water work includes new wells, well repairs, field verification, annual maintenance, and donor reporting.

Deep-aquifer wells help reduce exposure to surface contamination and waterborne illness.
Nearby water access gives time back to families, especially women and girls.
Full well projects can include naming, photos, location details, completion reporting, warranty, and annual maintenance.
What your donation supports
Donations help move confirmed clean water needs through field review, logistics, materials, and local coordination.
Clean water projects are built around daily community use: drinking, cooking, hygiene, school routines, and family care.
Full well projects can include naming, photos, location details, completion reporting, and maintenance checkups.
Campaign FAQ
After a full well donation is confirmed, field teams can typically complete the process in about 4-6 weeks, depending on local logistics and site conditions.
