Our first and most important goal is to be able to lessen one of the many problems going on in Sub-Saharan Africa, even if it's just a little bit. Our biggest wish is to be able to provide clean water for everyone, but since that's a very big task, we want to start out small and hopefully take action for bigger goals in the future.
In this group fundraising project, we want to support Embrace Relief’s efforts in raising awareness about the water scarcity issue in Africa through their first 5K Walkathon called “How Far Can You Walk”. They are planning to raise funds in order to reconstruct 250 non-operational water wells which will provide clean water to 250,000 people in Africa. And we want to be part of that life-changing impact. So we will be fundraising to help reconstruct 2 water wells in Sub-Saharan Africa!
Our story started off a long time ago in Brooklyn Amity school, and as our students participated and graduated, new members joined us and old members continued to support us. Now our 2022 Helping Hands team is hoping to continue on what our past members have achieved and add their own success and help to it.
We have achieved our goal for this campaign.
We appreciate your ongoing support.
