Food is a human right, yet far too many people go to bed with an empty stomach each night. 828 million people worldwide are affected by chronic hunger. Millions of children are growing up malnourished, resulting in severe challenges to their physical, mental and social development. Many more children and adults alike are threatened with starvation and death because they are unable to afford or access the food they need. It doesn’t need to be this way. But we all must work together to ensure that all people have the food they need.
