The problems people experience around the world, especially in certain places such as African countries are a common discussion topic. However, as the youth of the community at Istanbul Cultural Center in Atlanta, GA, we wanted to do more than discuss these topics and take action in the global humanitarian movement. Our group came together to take advantage of this amazing opportunity presented by Embrace Relief. We created a fundraising campaign not only to contribute the most we can and use our networks to help attain our goal but also to go to Africa and be a part of the process in which our funds are used. We all value health and believe that health screenings should be available to everyone. We also believe that everyone should contribute to the fight for better health because every step really does have an impact. Holding on to this belief, we hope that with this campaign we can have a positive impact on this world.
