2019 Albania Earthquake Disaster Relief

A deadly 6.4 magnitude earthquake hit Albania’s northwest coast on Tuesday, November 26th, 2019. At least 31 people have been confirmed dead, and hundreds of others were injured. Two thousand five hundred people have been displaced and are living in temporary, makeshift tents and shelters. While rescue workers are working non-stop to help find and save victims, their efforts are complicated by aftershocks that struck Wednesday.
