Food Distribution for Refugees in Greece

As the weather gets colder and winter approaches, it is more important than ever to consider the needs of our most vulnerable friends around the world – including thousands of refugees currently living in Greece. These brave souls have risked their life and livelihoods to flee persecution in their home country, and to search for a brand new start for their families. But life can be very difficult for people facing challenges in adjusting to an unfamiliar culture and country, in finding work and a sufficient income, and in securing basic necessities.

This winter, our friends in Greece need your help. Embrace Relief is launching a special Food Distribution program, which will take place in late November/early December 2023, which will provide 500 refugee families with a much-needed food package. These food packages are comprehensive, full of healthy staples, and can feed a family of four for approximately two weeks.

That’s 14 days and nights where a refugee family will not have to worry about where their next meal is coming from – a truly magical gift, and one we can only provide with your generosity.
