$4 Provides A Day’s Meals For a Child

Hunger is particularly devastating for children because of the long-term physical, mental, and cognitive effects they may suffer as a result of malnourishment. It is critical to ensure that all children have the food they need to grow up big, strong and healthy.

And as part of Embrace Relief’s International Hunger Relief: Ramadan 2025 Children’s Fund, we offer two different ways to make a positive impact and provide food to a child in need.

Iftar:

For each $4 you donate to our Children’s Fund, you will provide a day’s worth of meals – both iftar and suhoor – to a child during Ramadan. For the price of an expensive morning latte, you can give a child the nutrition they need to grow up strong. A donation of $120 ensures that one child’s meals are covered during the entire month of Ramadan!

Food Packages:

Alternatively, for just $35, you may donate a food package to a child in need. These food packages provide weeks’ worth of meals and basic staple foods, ensuring that the child’s nutrition needs are met.

See your Ramadan 2024 Children’s Fund Impact

Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, we achieved the following in 2024:

• Provided 477 children with daily Iftar and sahur meals.
• Served a total of 28,660 meals throughout the month of Ramadan.

Our Ramadan 2025 Children’s Fund, Goal

During Ramadan 2025, our goal is to provide 42000 Iftar meals for 1,400 orphaned children in three countries, ensuring they have proper nutrition during the holy month. The distribution will be as follows:

• Uganda – 550 children
• Kenya – 600 children
• Chad – 250 children
