About this campaign
Hunger in Yemen
The conflict in Yemen is now stretching into its 12th year, and the need for basic necessities like food remains critical for millions of families. Nearly half of the country’s population of 33 million is at risk for undernourishment. Many families rely on the efforts of humanitarian organizations like Embrace Relief to acquire the food they need to survive.
That’s why we are working to deliver food packages to Yemen as part of our International Hunger Relief: Ramadan 2025 campaign! Since the start of 2022, we have provided more than 1 million loaves of bread and food packages to address hunger in the capital city, Sanaa.

We want to continue to help families in need during our Ramadan 2025 campaign, and we need your help to do it. In the spirit of Ramadan, we humbly invite you to consider making a donation of any amount, big or small—every bit counts—to help us continue to ease the hunger of thousands in need.
Each food package for Yemen weighs approximately 30 kilograms, and will feed a family for 1-2 weeks. Contents include:
- 25 kilograms flour
- 5 kilograms sugar
- 5 kilograms rice
- 2 liters cooking oil
- 4 kilograms hurma (persimmon)

Provide 1,000 food packages to Yemeni families in need
Provide daily fresh bread to 350 families during Ramadan
