On this trip, she aims to perform 200 free cataract surgeries, restoring sight and hope to those in need. However, we need your support to make this life-changing mission possible.
Despite living with muscular dystrophy, a degenerative disease that is gradually impairing her mobility, Dr. Uzunel continues to commit herself to international volunteer work, driven by her passion for helping others. Her determination and passion for making a differenceare truly inspiring.
To make this mission a reality, we need to raise $25,000 to cover the costs of the 200 surgeries and secure Dr. Uzunel’s travel to Africa, where she will perform these critical procedures. Every dollar donated will go directly towards funding the surgeries and supporting Dr. Uzunel's travel and accommodation.
