About this campaign
This is why in 2023, Embrace Relief began a new program designed to help give women in Kenya the tools they need to become small business owners. We have partnered with a tailoring training program at the Madonna Resource Community Center in Githurai, Kenya, and have pledged to donate sewing machines and sewing kits to the women who have successfully completed their certification.
Thanks to their training from the MRCC and the sewing machines they received from Embrace Relief, the graduates will have everything they need to open their own small tailoring business. In this role, they can serve their community by creating a necessary product, while also having the opportunity to use their skills to provide a better life for themselves and their families.
