On Dec. 7, 2024, Embrace Relief provided vital support to victims of recent disasters in Sironko District, Uganda, Responding to the devastating landslides and flash floods that left hundreds in urgent need of assistance, our organization distributed over 100 food packages to affected families.

The disasters, which occurred on Nov. 27, 2024, resulted in significant destruction, including the loss of lives, homes, and livelihoods across multiple communities in Uganda. With over 600 individuals critically affected and in need of relief items, Embrace Relief’s intervention aimed to address the immediate food insecurity faced by those impacted.

Our efforts are part of a larger commitment to providing humanitarian aid in times of crisis. Through the support of our donors and our trusted partner organizations in more than 50 countries, Embrace Relief is dedicated to supporting vulnerable communities and extending a helping hand to those in need, wherever they may be.
