As the year comes to an end, thousands of refugees in Greece are struggling to adjust to a new beginning. This year alone, over 34,000 refugees arrived in the country, many seeking safety and a fresh start after unimaginable hardship. But their journey is far from over. With the cold winter months upon us, they must rely on the support of our community to stay nourished and warm as they work toward rebuilding their lives.
That’s why Embrace Relief is launching an emergency campaign to send a truckload of essential food packages to refugees in Greece by the first week of December. Each food package will include healthy staples that can sustain individuals and families through these difficult, colder months, bringing them not just food, but also hope.
