Donate NowThe recent escalation of violence in Lebanon in the fall of 2024 caused widespread devastation and displacement. An estimated 1.2 million people have been affected, including many who have been uprooted, communities that have been torn apart, and futures that have been put on hold.
Displaced by violence and instability, they now face overwhelming uncertainty — many without shelter, food or the means to provide for their basic needs. Among the refugee population in Lebanon are great numbers of children, the elderly and those with medical conditions, as well as many who have fled the conflict in Gaza. All struggle to survive in dire conditions, relying on whatever limited aid they can find. The humanitarian need is immense, and without immediate support, countless families will continue to suffer.
To help ease this suffering, Embrace Relief is partnering with USA for UNHCR, the national partner of the UN Refugee Agency, to provide refugees in Lebanon with the support they need.
This program will provide direct Zakat-eligible cash assistance to displaced and refugee families, allowing them to purchase the essentials they need most.
