OUR KEY INITIATIVES IN LEBANON INCLUDE:
Addressing Shelter Needs
In Lebanon, over 80% of displaced families are living in schools, mosques, churches, and government buildings. Many have adapted to life in classrooms or spaces divided by sheets for privacy. Embrace Relief has supported these temporary shelters, ensuring families have safer, more stable environments to live in.
Food Assistance
Hunger is a pressing issue in Lebanon’s refugee communities. We have provided nutritious meals five days a week for groups of 200 individuals. This essential aid helps meet the basic nutritional needs of families struggling to survive.
Winter Clothing for Children
Lebanon’s winters are harsh, and children are especially vulnerable. To address this, Embrace Relief launched a project to provide winter clothing for 100 children. Families were taken to stores where they selected clothing items suited to their needs. The first group of 50 children and their families has already received this much-needed assistance.
Raising Morale
To uplift spirits, we organized a joyful celebration for children and their families after distributing clothing. The event included games, favorite foods, and desserts, creating a moment of happiness amidst the hardships of conflict.
