The Lebanese government reports that more than 1 million people have been displaced from their homes due to the conflict, with an estimated 3,000 having died since Sept. 23, 2024.
As the conflict deepens, the specter of more death, destruction and displacement becomes significantly more likely. Many refugee families in Lebanon – including internally displaced Lebanese, as well as 1.5 million Syrians and 210,000 Palestinians who have fled conflict zones – are now reliant on outside support from international humanitarian groups to receive food, shelter, and basic necessities of life.
Embrace Relief, through our trusted partners in Lebanon, is doing what it can to provide these basic necessities to hundreds of families living in several temporary shelters in the country, with those in need ranging in age from 1 month to 83 years old.
