Located in Daoudabougou, Bamako, Djiguiya Bon Orphanage has been a sanctuary for orphaned and vulnerable girls since 2004. It was founded by Mariam Sidibé Togo, who was orphaned early in her own life. The home began with a handful of girls and now cares for 100 girls ages 3 to 23. Without a permanent funding partner, their meals, schooling, and everyday care depend on the generosity of donors.
We are working to keep all 100 girls in school, provide healthy daily meals and healthcare, and continue saying yes to the next girl who needs a home.
