Youth Island Ramadan Food Package Distribution

Youth Island New York is launching a fundraising campaign to distribute halal food packages to families in need in New York City during Ramadan. Especially because of the pandemic, many families have been dealing with food insecurity and are unable to obtain sufficient food. The prepared food packages will contain essential items enough to last a family of 6 for two weeks of Ramadan. This will allow families to enjoy nourishing meals during the holy month of Ramadan without having to worry about food shortages in their household. Any donations will go directly to preparing and distributing these food packages to families throughout New York City.
