Campaign story

About this campaign

Life as a refugee can be lonely, complex, and dangerous. That is especially true for the thousands of Turkish refugees who have recently fled to neighboring Greece in search of freedom. These brave individuals have left their entire lives behind, arriving in Greece without money, employment, or housing. Many refugees report feeling scared, abandoned, vulnerable, and alone.

But they are not alone if we stand with them. The Arkansas Culture and Dialogue Center is partnering with Embrace Relief to cover the housing costs for five refugee families in Greece for an entire year. Finding suitable housing is one of the biggest challenges refugees face in living safe, secure, and stable lives. By coming together to support our refugee friends in Greece, we can empower them to rebuild their lives.

This fundraiser will do more than cover housing costs; it will convey that these families are not alone. Your donation shows that refugee families are a part of our community, and we will support them as they work to rebuild their lives.

We invite you to donate today and help the Arkansas Culture and Dialogue Center and Embrace Relief reach our fundraising goal of $36,000. Your contributions will give families peace of mind during their greatest need. Together, we can make an immeasurable impact on the lives of these courageous, freedom-seeking refugees
