About this campaign

The tragic conflict in Ukraine is upending millions of lives at a terrifying pace. In just the first week, the United Nations estimates that more than one million Ukrainians have fled the country, the largest and fastest exodus of refugees in the 21st century. This is a fast-developing humanitarian crisis on an unimaginable scale, and it’s therefore crucial to deliver immediate assistance to those Ukrainians who have sought shelter in neighboring countries. There simply is no time to wait.

Embrace Relief is working urgently to get needed items to refugees, and we need your help. if you have any of the items below and are willing to donate, you can drop off donations at our office location – 18 Passaic Avenue, Unit 1, Fairfield, NJ, 07004 – from now until Friday, March 11:

  • Non-perishable foods (big demand)
  • Clothes and footwear (for men, women and children)
  • Thermal underwear
  • Hygiene products (women’s products, diapers, etc.)
  • Blankets
  • Bedding
  • Tableware (disposable)
  • First aid/first aid kits
  • Tents, mattresses and sleeping bags
  • Standalone lamps
  • Candles
  • Containers for liquids (10- to 20-liter canisters for water, fuel, lubricants, etc.)
  • Embrace Relief is also accepting monetary donations, which will go to a non-profit organization in Romania who is providing direct support to Ukrainian refugees in Romania and other bordering countries.
