The Bunker Hill Community College located in Boston, Massachusetts, has started a Group FUNdraiser through Embrace Relief to install a water well in Tanzania. Although there are underground resources in Africa, water wells cannot be opened due to financial deficiencies. Therefore, they have decided to collect funds to build a well and help people quench their thirst. Building a water well will make the community self-sufficient, decrease the risk of waterborne illnesses, boost agriculture, the economy, and education since people will not have to walk miles to retrieve clean water.
