When we feel the hunger pangs of the Ramadan fast, we can empathize with the struggles of the estimated 733 million people facing food insecurity worldwide.
The ongoing world hunger crisis touches every single country on the planet, and nearly every community is home to families who are struggling. When we come together to ensure that everyone has enough to eat, we’re not only providing life-saving food to those who need it: we’re building stronger communities and extending a hand of friendship to those less fortunate.
At Embrace Relief, this is our mission during our International Hunger Relief: Ramadan 2025 campaign. Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, we delivered nutritious food packages to a record-high 68,000 people in 19 countries during our Ramadan 2024 campaign. Nearly half of the world’s food-insecure population lives in Africa, the result of generations of poverty, food production disruptions caused by climate change, and conflicts on the continent. The hunger crisis touches many countries, but particularly sub-Saharan countries where poverty is the deepest.
During Embrace Relief’s Ramadan 2024 campaign, we delivered food packages and meals to more than 44,000 people in 10 African countries: Burkina Faso, Central African Republic, Congo, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Mali, Nigeria, Tanzania and Uganda. Ramadan 2025 Yemen Hunger Relief
The extended conflict in Yemen, now entering its 12th year, continues to immiserate millions of people and leave them without access to basic foods. Yemen has one of the highest rates for child malnutrition in the world, and more than half of its population – 17 million people – are food-insecure.
Since the start of 2022, Embrace Relief has provided more than 1 million loaves of bread and food packages to people in need in the capital city, Sanaa. Your donation will be crucial, as many Yemenis can survive only because of the generosity of donors like you, and humanitarian aid organizations like Embrace Relief.

Ramadan 2025 Greece Hunger Relief
In Greece, thousands of people live as refugees, having fled persecution and conflict in their home country. This can be a difficult life, as men and women must find a way to provide their families with housing, food, education, and other basic needs while navigating an unfamiliar country, language, and culture.
To support our refugee friends in Greece, Embrace Relief provided food packages to more than 1,600 people during our Ramadan 2024 campaign. A donation for our refugee friends in Greece will help provide the security they need to rebuild their lives, free from hunger.
